The Info Pack You Receive When you Book My Services

Once you have made a firm booking with me to be the celebrant for your Scottish Wedding Ceremony  and paid the non-refundable booking fee (retainer and lodgement) to reserve your wedding day/time, I will give you a great deal of information to assist you in planning the day, at no extra charge, including
  • Getting Married: Your Rights and Obligations -  a guide I've written that covers all the legal requirements for marrying, together with information about changing your name,
  • How to Have a Stress-Free, Glitch Free Scottish Wedding - a comprehensive guide to getting married in a traditional Scottish wedding, including information about choosing appropriate attire and how to wear Highland dress, together with more general and useful advice on budgeting, managing relationships with wedding service providers, traditions and superstitions, and how to develop a multi-purpose Plan B.
  • A copy of Designing your Contemporary Couture Marriage Ceremony in the Scottish Tradition
  • A workbook version of your choice of one of my best-selling books: How to Write Vows that WOW; The Gay Groom's Guide to Writing Your Vows; or The Lesbian Bride's Guide to Writing Your Vows
I will also give you access to a rich repository of information relating to the ceremony, and will personally guide you every step of the way.

I do not expect you to create your own ceremony, or to put it together from pre-written selections. I use an in-depth information gathering process that does not require you to attend numerous meetings. This process enables me to  create a unique ceremony for you, a ceremony both rich in Scottish tradition and infused with your personalities and style.
